The academic year is divided into two semesters of 16 weeks each. The school year will begin the first week of September and terminate the third week of May.
The semester hour is the unit of credit. A semester hour being one fifty-minute period of instruction per week, for sixteen weeks.
Students are classified according to the credit hours of course work completed.

Grade point average is computed by dividing the total honor points by the total number of earned credit hours.
Only credit hours being assigned grades of “C” or above are allowed toward the major field of study.
The Registrar’s Office will publish the President’s Life of those students who achieve a grade-point average of 4.00 for the semester grading period and a Dean’s List for those students who achieve a grade-point average of 3.00 or higher for the semester grading period. A student must be carrying a minimum of 12 credit hours and must not have any “Incompletes”, “D’s” or “WF’s” for that semester in order to qualify for these honors.
To qualify for these academic honors a student must have earned at least a 3.50 grade-point average for his entire academic record, have completed at least 60 hours at Marietta Bible College, and have completed all graduation requirements for a four-year program. The scholastic honors are as follows:
